Reported 1 October, from DESNZ: 291,000 new installations in the 12 months to August 2026; 24,154 in August (124MW). Total capacity is 23.2GW over 2,131,000 installations, with more than 195,000 domestic installs in the year.
Capacity by region: South West 4.6GW, South East 3.8GW, East of England 3.7GW. Broadstairs is in the South East. The release does not break figures down further, so we have not estimated a Broadstairs share.
A larger, more established market tends to help buyers through choice and experience. It is still worth doing the basics: MCS certification, multiple quotes, written export terms.
